Rachel Spivey
Rachel Spivey

Role: Group Leader
Responsibility: Overall leadership and mediator for group decisions. Mainly organizes agenda and time frame for project completion and group meetings.

Rachel Spivey was born November 7th, 1990 at Georgia Baptist in Atlanta, Georgia, currently called Atlanta Medical Center. She has been raised in Fairburn, a little town just south of the area called, Metro Atlanta. Rachel has a very supportive group of family and friends that have help aided her into a very self sufficient young adult. At the age of 18, she is currently a freshman at Georgia Institute of Technology, after graduating Salutatorian from a class of almost 400 students. Rachel enjoys a variety of interest, primarily dancing and art but is also intrigued by the thrill of exploration and creation through engineering. In her down time, Rachel enjoys going out for a liberating walk through the woods with a select group of close friends and her dog, where reality can be paused and she can “find a peace in life”.


Christian Santos

Responsibility: Converts information from group members and meetings into the physical web design using Dream Weaver programming

Born in Philippines on July 19th 1990, Christian Santos lives Gainesville, Georgia. He currenty attends Georgia Institute of Technology pursuing a Computer Engineering Major. Christian went to high school in Oakwood, GA at West Hall High School and graduated with all A's. Living in the Philippines, Christian realized the importance of family and how it should never part him when he left for the United States in 1997. He grew up around the Oakwood, Ga until he left for Gainesville in 2006. In the same year, he built his first computer and realized his affections for technology and computers. He hopes to continue working on computers in his career.

Responsibility: Oversees the visual design of the page after content filled in, ensures pages are visually appealing and images and text are appropriate for page

Kate Williams is currently a freshman at Georgia Tech majoring in Applied Mathematics.  She is a member of the Georgia Tech Goldrush Dance Team.  Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Kate has lived in Peachtree City, Georgia for most of her life.  She attended McIntosh High School while she was a Senior Company member of the Georgia Youth Ballet and she is also very active in her church.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling, boating, spending time with family and friends, and of course riding around on her golf cart like any Peachtree City girl!

Responsibility: Oversees the writing and content of the pages, ensuring each page flows and is logical in transitions

Will Jackson is from Knoxville, TN and  went to Farragut High School. He graduated in the top part of his class and was an honor roll student. In addition to being in the honor roll, Will played four years of varsity football and was a senior captain.  His team made the quarter finals of the playoffs every year of his high school career while he made all-state two years in a row and was a Mr. Football finalist after his senior year. Given a football scholarship to attend Tech, Will plays on the offensive line. Currently, he is a management major and has aspirations of graduating early.

Julian Varo was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Atlanta Georgia. In May 2009, he graduated from Sandy Creek High School. He has a loving mother, father and a younger brother who is three years old. Along with his past achievements from high school, Julian has future goals which entail graduating from the Georgia Institute of Technology with honors and with Civil Engineering as his major.
